Canvas Art Quality
Our designs are printed by a reputable Australian printing company using pigment inks on a 100% cotton canvas and then sealed with 2 coats of laminate. They are stretched on high quality gallery style frames with a hanging wire attached. When comparing prices, make sure you compare products of similar quality to ours.
Canvas
Heavy weight 390gsm 100% cotton canvas that is used in museums and art galleries. It is water resistant, archival rated for 90+ years and is dimensionally stable to avoid sag. The white canvas makes the printed colours appear richer with great contrast.
Frames
All frames are made with heavy duty 3 cm thick bevelled stretcher bars. The professional quality frame is made from carefully selected dense pine that has been dried slowly to stop warping.
Wrap
The design image wraps around the bevelled edge frame giving a seamless finish to your print.
Ink
Our professional printers use pigment-based inks. Pigment inks produce richer and more stable colour than solvent inks and are fade resistant. Your print will last 75+ years. However to maximise the life of a print, it should be minimally handled and hung away from humidity or direct sunlight.
Laminate
To protect your print, 2 coats of colourless, highly flexible, water resistant liquid laminate is sprayed onto the canvas.
Packaging
Before couriering your print it is wrapped in bubble wrap then 2 layers of cardboard to protect it.
